Salary Range
$20.05 $23.30 Per Hour
JOB SUMMARY:
Expedite Caterpillar Morton backorder parts. Review and release backorders as needed working closely with Inventory control. Support Service department as needed. Help maintain daily backorder report.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Expedite assigned Morton back orders.
- Avoid customer service delays.
- Handle all orders within required deadlines and cutoff times.
- Manage Parts Kits and Shop HUC areas in support of the warehouse and service departments.
- Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies procedures and standards.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and adjust backorders.
- Followup on items not received from CAT depots.
- Handle customer billing of special handle orders.
- Work with warranty claims office to submit claims.
- Maintain daily activity log on all calls and email communications.
- Prepare assigned reports as required.
- Works within and promotes corporate values.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customer and to solve customer problems in a professional manner.
- Must have math skills sufficient to effectively perform job duties.
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- years experience working with CAT equipment parts.
- Prefer some parts experience.
- Must be able to communicate (speak read comprehend write) in English.
