  • Warren School Lowestoft Suffolk NR33 8HT
  • 12.41 per hour
  • 8.30am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday half an hour unpaid lunch and 19 hours CPD across the academic year

We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistant (TA who is dynamic and friendly with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with PMLD and SLD needs. The school is in a period of transition with a new leadership team in place and we are looking for a range of teaching assistants to help us deliver the curriculum and help our pupils achieve their potential. We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

  • have experience working with pupils with SEND
  • use a range of strategies to support a diverse range of complex needs
  • have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques are essential
  • support a rich high quality stimulating and enabling learning environment where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils
  • support each pupil to access a broad balanced and relevant curriculum differentiated to meet individual needs
  • use creative and diverse approaches to support the needs of all pupils and to develop a love of learning
  • support tasks relating to real life experiences
  • are willing to share good practice
  • are looking for a challenge
  • are passionate about supporting learning characteristics in pupils
  • are able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
  • can maintain confidentiality
  • have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
  • have an awareness of safeguarding
  • can communicate and collaborate effectively with others
  • has willingness to contribute to the wider school through our curriculum enrichment and extended school offer.

Qualifications:

  • SEND Experience
  • Grade C /4 mathematics and English
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Desirable Teaching Assistant qualification
