This position is crucial for leading the Global Program Team (GPT). The Global Program Team Lead (GPTL) drives and executes a comprehensive strategy that integrates clinical nonclinical regulatory medical affairs manufacturing commercial and market access plans. The goal is to ensure successful submissions approvals launches and life cycle activities for assigned programs. The role also fosters a culture of collegiality and respect promoting highperforming teams and embedding the Patients First culture in all decisionmaking processes.
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
- Ensure team accountability for functional deliverables challenging assumptions and plans.
- Collaborate with GPT members crossfunctional leaders and stakeholders to drive alignment risk management and decision making.
- Develop program strategy with GPT and senior leaders.
- Create and execute an integrated development plan (IDP) supporting submissions approvals launch and life cycle activities.
- Proactively identify issues and develop contingency plans.
- Communicate projectrelated issues to senior leaders and manage resolutions.
- Chair GPT meetings set agendas allocate time raise concerns and drive action plans.
- Interact with leaders and governance bodies to maintain alignment on strategy decisions risks and resources.
- Provide input on longrange and annual investment planning.
- Implement best practices for team effectiveness.
- Drive riskbased decision making.
- Present at governance committees and business forums.
- Work on complex issues requiring indepth program R&D strategy and business knowledge.
- Make critical decisions impacting program schedules and business priorities.
More about You
- BS or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- 15 years of industry experience
- Management/leadership experience in a matrix environment
- Experience leading multidisciplinary global program teams
- Indepth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry including clinical research regulatory pharmaceutical sciences marketing or other drug development areas
- Extensive drug development and pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience to drive program strategy and resolve critical issues.
- Significant experience leading crossfunctional teams through various stages of drug development from early research to postmarketing activities
- Expert strategic problemsolving skills
- Highly effective written verbal and visual communication skills for managing motivating and decisionmaking.
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Ability to foster a culture of collegiality and respect for diverse contributions.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend process improvements and implement best practices.

This position is remote. However you will be expected to work on site at one of Sareptas facilities in the United States and/or attend Companysponsored inperson events from time to time.
The targeted salary range for this position is $248000 $310000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sareptas compensation philosophy and considers factors including but not limited to education training experience external market conditions criticality of role and internal equity.
