Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking foraExperienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding our business solutions and ensuring the alignment of business processes and information systems to achieve more efficient and effective practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting indepth business process analyses to understand and document current processes and to develop recommendations for process improvements
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and compile user requirements to understand the operational objectives
Designing and implementing new business models and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Developing and monitoring data analytics to support decisionmaking and to provide insight into business performance
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users and the information technology team to ensure technical solutions meet user needs
Facilitating meetings and workshops to drive stakeholder consensus and to validate business requirements
Preparing and delivering reports recommendations or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Advanced technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with business intelligence software
Excellent planning organizational and time management skills
A history of leading and supporting successful projects
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile and Scrum
Experience using Azure DevOps to manage requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems or a related field
5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
experience working with UI designers in validating if designs meet requirements
experience working vetting submitted bugs to understand if they are valid and if they are in scope
Preferred experience serving in a primary role for a State/Provincial work Projects
