Job Description

Job Summary
The Accountant lll provides valuable financial support services to the University community. This includes performing accounting duties related to accounting and reporting for grant accounting grant award setups budget transfers corrections monthly reconciliations accounts receivable and corresponding with outside granting agencies. This position also assists faculty and staff with various grant accounting needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Monitor accounts receivable balance. Grant award setups including budgets. Request cash drawdowns and complete monthly reconciliations for grants and contract. Grant management including corrections transfers invoicing financial reports and award closeout. Correspond with outside granting agencies and University Grants and Contracts department to verify billing details.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role. Four 4 years of experience in governmental or commercial accounting. One 1 years of experience in grants or contracts.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Higher Education.

Work Schedule
MondayFriday; 8:00am5:00pm
