Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Interactive/Multimedia Design or a closely related field
- Three 3 years of related experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce materials/projects for print and digital publication.
- Coordinates with campus staff and supervises subordinate staff. Attends and conducts staff meetings to exchange information; attends inservice training and classes seminars or conferences to improve professional skills.
- Manages working relationships with internal clients and external vendors to complete projects.
- Digitally edit and embellish photography (photography skills preferred).
- Support and work with Marketing & Communications staff.
- Plans and organizes activities for area of responsibility. Develops and implements programs to accomplish goals and improve operations.
- Reviews and evaluates information and activities in order to ensure completion of assignments; will make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Prepares and maintains various reports records and/or programs.
- Researches and troubleshoots areas that need development.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the President or their designee.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work within deadlines and manage time and workflow accordingly.
- Ability to supervise and work with the graphic design team.
- Excellent organizational skills multitasking skills and ability to solve problems.
- Knowledge of graphic arts printing quality standards graphic art design production and printing fields.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing be flexible to meet the demands of the College.
- Fully knowledgeable of Adobe Creative Suite software including InDesign Photoshop Illustrator etc.
