Founded more than 15 years ago and headquartered in Chicago the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to more than 350 people operating throughout North America and in Europe. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016 DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital trading strategies and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now DV group affiliates include two broker dealers a cryptocurrency market making firm and a bourgeoning investment adviser.
Independent Trading Group (ITG) Inc. is a Toronto based IIROC registered broker/dealer that specializes in market making agency and bespoke algorithmic trading solutions with ultralow latency connectivity across all Canadian venues and cross border access to US markets. Established in the early 1990s ITG leverages its own proprietary technology to service a broad array of over 400 public issuers from some of Canadas largest publicly listed companies to newly minted tech startups and ETFs as well as institutional investors from across Canada and around the world.
- Build highquality web applications using Java Spring and Angular
- Participate in design sessions and work with the team to deliver solutions on existing proprietary systems external client projects and internal portals
- Assist in researching new technological solutions to achieve business goals
- Create technical documentation as required for applications built
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on different aspects of the development and delivery life cycle
- 2 years of experience delivering high quality scalable platforms leveraging Spring framework Java and Angular framework
- Knowledge of software development practices concepts and technology
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of functional aspects and technical behavior of Linux
- Ability to deliver solutions based on strict requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps for Project Management
- Experience with Azure App Services
