Job Summary/Description:

KGNS is looking for a Multimedia Marketing Consultant. KGNS is the dominant company in the market with the strength of 5 broadcast properties(NBC Telemundo CBS ABC CW) two digital platforms and Telemundo and the full dynamic suite of extended audience products of 956 Digital. Our success is the result of extraordinary employees and an exemplary management team. Our company is advancing the world of media and video marketing and is looking for someone to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality along a drive to succeed.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Generate revenue for the station and meet monthly goals through effective outside sales techniques
Develop new business relationships through selling commercial advertising time and other station products by meeting and planning marketing decisions with local businesses.
Create and present advertising strategies and ideas for local businesses incorporating our core broadcast and digital marketing products
Provide input on sales promotion opportunities to sales management
Limit churn and retain current business and develop new business contacts
Develop and attain budgeted revenue goals through effective solicitations promotions and service
Understand the clients business objectives and advertising strategies and develop ways to help them achieve the objectives through effective marketing.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Strong organizational written and presentation skills.
Proficient in Word Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
Competitive persuasive energetic and selfmotivated
Ability to overcome objections
Outside media sales experience preferred but not required
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Professional appearance
Must have a valid drivers license good driving record and insurance
College Degree Preferred (but not required)
A basic knowledge of digital marketing is preferred
