NonExempt position. Performs analyses on biological specimens e.g. blood and urine to aid health care providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.

A twoyear commitment to this position is required**
Shift Differential is paid for off shift hours worked(ex. Pms nocs weekends).
Relocation is offered to those relocating 70 miles or greater.
For MT Baccalaureate Degree in one of the following:
Or Bachelors degree plus Certificate in Medical laboratory Science (MLS) Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) Medical Technology (MT) as recognized by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) is required. An HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree.
For MLT Associates degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program or U.S. military Medical Laboratorytraining program.
Skills
Experience working in a medical field Required. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Possess good written and oral communications skills the ability to prioritize work manage time wisely and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects. Preferred: Phlebotomy Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations for assignments as needed.
