We are looking for Personal Care Workers to work at our facilities based in South Australia.
This role is permanent fulltime position 38 hours per week)
About the Role:
As a Personal Care Workeryoull provide assistance to our residents ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing independence interests and choices.
- To provide high quality safe and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
- Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity selfdetermination and comfort.
- Assist the resident with selfcare needs safe mobility and transfers and complete documentation.
- Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
- Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents
To be successful you will have:
- At least 12 months prior work experience (at least a minimum of 20 hours per week)
- Strong and clear verbal communication skills
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Experience in care role highly regarded
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
- Valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid19 vaccination
The guaranteed minimum earnings (inclusive of allowances and penalties) will be no less than $65835 per annum plus superannuation. This could include a combination of shifts including mornings afternoons nights and weekends.
