Job Description
The client:
- A highly independent young man who is always thriving to become more independent and self-sufficient.
- A positive personality who can enjoy both a serious conversation as well as a good laugh.
- Very ambitious and would like support with working towards his life goals.
- Enjoys all things music and plays the guitar and keyboard. A background in sound engineering.
- Able to walk with the support of a tripod uses a wheelchair for longer distances.
The applicant:
- You can cover a mixture of shifts Monday to Sunday
- Sunday: 9am-5pm
- Able and willing to work on alternate weekends
- Clean Driving Licence is essential due to nature of support.
- Confident driver who is willing to learn how to drive the clients automatic vehicle.
- Excellent observation communication & reporting skills.
- Confident working within a multi-disciplinary team
- A good team player
- Strong motivator able to support a highly independent adult
Qualifications :
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications for this role however it would be useful to have some experience of a support/ PA role working with complex adults.
