Job Description

As Sales Manager you will lead a team of ten to fifteen salespeople selling replacement windows and doors directly to consumers. You will represent a superior product that is more expensive than the competitors and have experience leading a B2C sales team whose sales process requires a onecall close. The territory is the Greater Toronto Area and much of your time will be spent in the field. This role will require some evening and weekend support as the sales team requires. You will lead manage oversee performance implement sales strategies and KPIs and work closely and support the sales team. This role is a new and additional sales management position created due to growth and you will report to the companys president. The base salary is $130000 $165000 plus bonuses.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

$130000 to $165000 Base Salary plus commission

OTE in the first year is $225000

OTE in the second year is $250000

Our client is a subsidiary of an international window and door manufacturer with over 13000 employees. They provide superior replacement doors and windows to consumers. In the Greater Toronto Area they employ 125 and are growing 15 20 per year. Their corporate culture is one of growth career development and results.

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

Head Office Mississauga Ontario

Working from the office five days a week when not in the field working with your sales team.

The sales territory is the Greater Toronto Area

Fulltime Monday to Friday (some evenings and weekends as required to support the sales team)

EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must have experience selling a product or service to consumers and primarily being compensated via commissions only.

Must have 3 5 years of B2C sales leadership experience selling a one call close product/service

Experience leading a primarily commissionbased sales team.

Experience leading a sales team of 10 15 B2C salespeople.

Experience selling windows and doors is an asset but not a requirement.

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES:

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of 10 to 15 sales representatives providing guidance and support to maximize individual and team performance.

Conduct regular oneonone coaching sessions to develop sales skills and address challenges.

Sales Strategy Development:

Analyze sales data and trends to develop effective sales strategies and goals.

Training and Development:

Organize and conduct training sessions on product knowledge sales techniques and customer service best practices.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Field Engagement:

Accompany sales reps on home visits to observe their sales techniques and provide realtime feedback.

Monitor team performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet sales targets.

Performance Monitoring:

Review and analyze sales reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Set clear performance metrics and hold team members accountable for achieving them.

LEADS:

The sales team you will be managing is provided preset appointments
