Job Description

This is not a remote position ideal candidates will be located within commuting distance from Fort Atkinson WI.

A Day In The Life!
The Product Engineer is responsible for all design engineering aspects of developing improving and supporting assigned product lines. Primary responsibilities include supporting quality improvements providing new product designs and supporting engineering aspects of existing product lines.
Generate design concepts using parametric solid and sheet metal modeling and produce production drawings and specifications in accordance with relevant standards and ISO procedures to include geometry materials finishes fits and tolerances as required to manufacture components and assemblies.
Support the Operation teams Quality Configuration and Manufacturing Engineering teams for both ETO and assigned product lines.
Structure and load complete bills of materials into the manufacturing ERP system.
Work crossfunctionally throughout the organization on various projects.
Required Skills
Candidates qualified for this role will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering and 23 years experience in Engineering or anAssociates degree in Mechanical Design Technology and710 years of experience.Candidates must have3D Modeling experience (Proengineering experience is preferred). Experienceevaluating complex products and transitioning Product Development Engineering Bills of Materials (BOM) into Manufacturing Bills of Materials is required. Qualified candidates will also have aworking knowledge of design and manufacturing methods of sheet metal fabrications stampings weldments assemblies and precision machined components. Proficiency in Microsoft office and webbased applications with advanced use of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
