Job Description
They process 250 tones per day of organic waste into valuable resources including biomethane green CO and organic fertilizer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying securing and managing relationships with feedstock suppliers
emphasizing quality and consistency.
Role: Feed Stock Agent
Location: Sand Industria Cape Town Western Cape
Purpose of the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Feedstock Agent to drive the procurement of high quality organic feedstock for the plant.
This role is crucial in ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of
waste materials primarily from the food and beverage and waste management sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying securing and managing relationships with feedstock suppliers
emphasizing quality and consistency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science biology chemistryengineering) or equivalent technical background in the food and beverage or waste managementindustry.
- Proven experience in sales business development or procurement.
- Strong understanding of organic waste streams and waste management practices.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
- Valid South African drivers license and reliable vehicle for frequent local travel.
- Professional demeanour and the ability to interact effectively with upper management.
- Willingness to work in environments with strong odours and challenging conditions while using PPE
- Volume and quality of feedstock delivered to the Cape Town plant.
- Number of new and maintained feedstock supplier relationships.
- Achievement of feedstock volume targets.
- Gate fee targets.
