Position: MySQL Database Administrator
Experience.: 2 5 years of relevant experience
Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Computers MCA MS/M.Sc in Computers M.Tech in Computer Science or IT
Salary Range: Yearly CTC is divided into two parts
1 Fixed CTC
2 Yearly Performance base incentive which is given at Financial Year end.
Total Yearly Package ranges from 8 to 10 Lac per annum (Fixed Yearly CTC range from 5 to 6 Lac CTC per annum and maximum performance base incentive range 4 to 5 Lac per annum)

Job Role:
Being part of a Database Administration team it needs to administer design database schemas and all types of database objects like tables views stored procedures functions etc for IT projects including maintaining databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. The Database Administrator will evaluate and advise on all database management systems and application technology components. They may handle databases for entire systems as well as for individual applications. Using their analytical and problemsolving skills database administrators help companies structure their data in a way where its an easily accessible valid and secure environment. work on continued upgradation of technical artefacts.
Job Description:
Core MySQL and MySQL Enterprise monitoring.
Installation and configuration and upgradation of MySQL database.
User access management for MySQL.
Handson Linux OS experience and familiarity with basic Linux commands and shell scripts.
Data migration backup restore & recovery Resolving performance issues blocking and deadlocks.
Implement and Monitor MySQL Cluster to provide High Availability for missioncritical events database mirroring replication and log shipping.
Implement and maintain security and integrity controls including backup and disaster recovery strategies for MySQL databases.
Design and create database objects such as data table structures stored procedures views Triggers reports Database Administration Configuration Maintenance and Support.
Experience in DR Drill activities like switchover and failover.
Knowledge of ETL tools like Pentaho Data Integration Tableau etc
Extensive work experience in query optimization script optimization and other related optimization tools and techniques including Performance monitoring.
Develop implement and maintain change control of databases. Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements including patch management.
