Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering Industrial Engineering Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 35 years of experience in a safety engineering role preferably in a manufacturing environment (HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus).
Handson experience with safety audits risk assessments and OSHA compliance.
Certifications:
OSHA 30Hour General Industry Safety certification (preferred).
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification (preferred).
First Aid/CPR certification.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations ANSI standards and other relevant safety standards.
Ability to perform hazard analysis risk assessments and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities.
Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to train and educate employees at all levels on safety procedures.
