Job Description
The Supply Chain Systems IT Manager is the principal architect and technical leader in the Information Technology Function at JR286 responsible for designing developing and supporting supply chain management (SCM) and supply chain solutions. This role partners with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders to drive business process improvements application enhancements and system integrations across the supply chain. The ideal candidate is a forwardthinking leader with a passion for exploring emerging technologiesincluding AIdriven solutionsto drive innovative outcomes and optimize supply chain performance.
What Youll Do:
Solution Design & Systems Improvement:
- Lead the endtoend design development and implementation of supply chain solutions for Oracle ERP and Krber/HighJump WMS with a focus on managing global supply chain and distribution processes.
- Provide highquality technical support across logistics warehouse management and other SCM functions.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Serve as a strategic liaison between departments (Finance Sales & Order Management Supply Chain & Operations) to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into technical solution specifications.
- Participate in and lead functional and technical design sessions to deliver optimum business solutions.
Process Optimization & Technical Innovation:
- Collaborate with key business users to optimize and automate processes leveraging advanced technologies.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives through the adoption of agile methodologies and best practices in SDLC.
Integration & Reporting:
- Design develop test and support integrations between internal systems (Oracle EBS R12 Krber/HighJump WMS) and external partners (Freight Forwarders 3PL Warehouses etc..
- Develop and document logical frameworks for analytical visualizations and reports from multiple data sources using SQL and tools such as Tableau and Domo.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Foster a cooperative environment and a culture of knowledge sharing that embodies the organizations core values.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members ensuring highquality system architecture and effective problem resolution.
Operational Excellence:
- Support critical operational activities including the monthend closing process.
- Develop and maintain detailed architectural business process flows and technical documentation.
Additionally:
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends (e.g. AIdriven solutions) to continuously improve supply chain solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.
What to Bring:
- 710 years of IT experience in a supply chain environment preferred
- Bachelors degree in IT computer engineering/science or related field
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead crossfunctional teams
- Excellent written verbal interpersonal customer relation presentation and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in fastpaced results driven organization
- Strong organizational skills; managing many diverse projects with different deadlines and priorities
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and independent initiative toward accomplishing objectives
- Ability to work with and provide insight to management team
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in providing functional and technical support for Krber/HighJump WMS applications.
- Experience with Oracle ERP Order Management Shipping and Inventory Modules
- Extensive development experience with Oracle PL/SQL RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Demonstrated ability in SQL query tuning and optimization.
Domain Knowledge:
- Indepth understanding of Supply Chain Functions and Warehouse Operations particularly within Order Fulfillment and Inventory Management.
- Familiarity with electronic data interchange (EDI) formats mappings and transformation processes is a plus.
Cloud & Integration Skills:
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS OCI) and integration best practices.
- Ability to design and manage integrations between internal and external systems.
Project Management & Leadership:
- Proven track record in managing multiple highpriority projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and across diverse cultures.
