Marine Welder (Aluminium Specialist)
Griffin Marine Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Welder (Aluminium Specialist) to join our dynamic team. This role will be an integral part of an exciting project for a multinational company working on leading edge designs with state of the art fabrication technology.

About the Role:
In this role you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise in aluminium welding will be crucial for a variety of projects including:
Ship repairs and modifications
Fabrication of new aluminium structures
Deck repairs and replacements
Watertight door and hatch installations
Working with pipes tanks and other aluminium components
You will be responsible for:
Performing highquality aluminium welds using various techniques (e.g. TIG MIG)
Ensuring welds meet stringent quality standards and classification society requirements
Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
Following safe work practices and adhering to all safety protocols
Contributing to a positive and productive team environment
Working independently and as part of a team on various projects
We are looking for a candidate with:
Proven experience as a marine welder
Demonstrated expertise in aluminium welding using TIG and MIG processes
A strong understanding of relevant welding codes and standards AS1665 & AS16641 Australian Aluminium Standard
Experience working in a shipyard or marine environment is a strong preference
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A valid working visa for Australia (if applicable)
