The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Compliance Engineer to assess product designs materials and manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to safety environmental and industry standards. This role will focus on optimizing compliance workflows enhancing efficiency and improving product quality all while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

What you will do at VeSync:
Stay uptodate with state and federal regulations standards and directives relevant to the company product categories. Represent the company in AHAM Portable Appliance Division (PAD).
Actively participate and impact decision making in AHAM committees such as the air cleaner council air fryer group floor care group and so on. Review and validate product performance claims based on product test results and applicable industry standards.
Evaluate product designs materials and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as safety environmental and industryspecific standards (e.g. UL IEST ASTM EN AHAM etc..
Coordinate product testing activities with internal and external laboratories (e.g. UL and Intertek) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Evaluate and validate testing procedures and results to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and legal requirements.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including compliance certificates test reports and technical files to demonstrate product compliance.
Inspect product components and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and specifications. Work closely with product development engineering quality assurance and legal teams to integrate compliance considerations into product design and development processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes improve efficiency and enhance product quality while ensuring compliance.
Support internal and external audits and inspections related to product compliance addressing any findings or nonconformities promptly.
Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements best practices and regulatory updates
What you bring to the role:
Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus two 2 years of postbaccalaureate experience working in a multinational company in the consumer appliance industry.
Experience must include regulatory requirements and standards applicable to consumer appliances; product compliance quality control and testing industry standards and government regulations within the consumer appliance sector.
Location:This is an onsite officebased role in Tustin CA.
Salary:Starting at $110000/ year
