About us
For the past 18 years Real Community Services has been dedicated to empowering individuals to provide direct support services Allied health services and living options for NDIS TAC and NIISQ participants. Our company mission is to empower individuals through commitment to foster independence wellbeing and the enhancement of their quality of life through our care.
About the role
As a Support Worker within the Disability sector you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective care to patients in a variety of settings. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping others and committed to ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care possible.
We are currently seeking experience compassionate and reliable support work to work closely with one of our participants in the Maroochydore region. Your role will include but is not limited to supporting the participant with their daily needs assisting with their physical emotional and social wellbeing assisting with their personal care tasks medication administration assistance daily living tasks and mealtime assistance.
Shift availability
- Monday 6pm 10pm
- Friday 6pm 10pm
- Saturday 8am 2pm

Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing dressing
- Support patients in maintaining their personal hygiene and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to participants.
- Managing their medication
Requirements
- Prior experience in disability care (essential)
- Experience with providing personal care to main dignity for participant
- Must have a valid drivers licence.
- Current Paid employee Blue Card
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
