In physical security management at PwC you will focus on confirming the safety and protection of people assets and information through the implementation and management of physical security measures. Job Description Security Officer

Position: Senior Associate

Department: Security & Transport

Location: Kolkata Bangalore Hyderabad Gurgaon

Reporting To: Senior Security Manager

Job Summary:

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees visitors and company assets. This role involves monitoring premises enforcing security protocols responding to emergencies and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security & Surveillance:

Monitor and control access to company premises ensuring authorized entry only.

Conduct routine patrols to detect and prevent security breaches.

Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV and alarm systems.

Women safety

Handling escort operations

2. Emergency Response & Incident Handling:

Respond promptly to security incidents alarms or emergencies.

Assist in investigations and report any suspicious activities.

Coordinate with law enforcement emergency services and internal stakeholders during crises.

3. Asset Protection & Risk Management:

Ensure protection of company assets including physical and intellectual property.

Identify potential security risks and recommend corrective measures.

Enforce company policies on visitor management and employee conduct.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of security incidents visitor logs and access control.

Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and legal regulations.

Conduct security awareness training for employees as needed.

As per PSARA guidelines of the state.

5. Transport Services

Manage transport services in coordination with the transport team.

Ensure safety of women employees and implementing safety protocols as per policy.

Manage escort roaster

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Graduate; a degree in security management or related field is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in security operations preferably in a corporate or MNC environment/ Ex Forces personnel with minimum 10 years experience

Certifications: Security training certification First Aid/CPR or relevant security licenses preferred.

Language: Excellent proficiency (Read write speak) in English Hindi and Local Language.

Skills:

Strong observational and decisionmaking skills.

Knowledge of security protocols emergency response and risk management. Proficiency in using security technology (CCTV access control etc..

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in computer operations viz mailing learning software tool usage etc.
