Calipsa which is part of MSI is aiming at automating CCTV video monitoring. We are building a cloud based platform that automatically connects with cameras processes and analyzes their content and only forward actionable alerts to our customers. We are working with the biggest security companies in the world actively monitoring more than 25 thousands sites around the world. We are expecting to massively grow the number of cameras and traffic on our platform in the near future.
You will be part of a focused team who will be responsible for cloud infrastructure operations and DevOps. You will be designing building maintaining and monitoring the cloud infrastructure to deploy Motorola Solutions platforms which can scale to millions of cameras all around the world. You have a strong sense of ownership and will have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact for our products.
Job Description
You will work closely with a team of architects engineers and developers to design build maintain and deploy cloud architectures and operational systems for our cloud platform. You will make sure to follow security best practices and design security into everything they do. You will be a key driver in the automation and monitoring of processes services and deployments related to our cloud presence. You will utilize modern DevSecOps principles such as Infrastructure as Code and Containerization for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of our Cloud Applications and Infrastructure. Our customers expect exceptional performance and uptime from our platform and the cloud infrastructure is the foundation of our platform. The team is highly distributed across the globe and in different time zones you will need to be able to thrive in a remote work environment with asynchronous communication methods. Being highly detailoriented and organized will be a requirement.
Participation in an oncall rotation for incidents is required. Occasional offhours work may be required for planned maintenance and escalations.
Required Skills
Programming languages: JavaScript Python Golang Bash
Cloud Service Providers: AWS
Experienced in IaC: Terraform OpenTofu
Highly proficient with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) architecture implementation deployment (Helm) and maintenance
Strong understanding of containerization technologies and platforms
Strong foundations in networking and network security
Experience in an Agile/DevOps environment CI/CD and application lifecycle management
Experience with observability tools (Thanos Prometheus Elastic Stack)
Strong coding and scripting skills comfortable working in version control systems
Experienced in DevOps pipeline designs and configurations (GitHub)
Comfortable working both independently and being a team player
Excellent communication skills in a virtual remote work environment
Be available oncall but build cloud infrastructure solutions that never wake you up
Desired Skills
Relevant certifications for cloud platforms Kubernetes cybersecurity

Familiarity with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD
