Job Description
We are seeking a candidate who is in the early and entry stage of their career open to learning about marine CO2 reporting regulations verifiers role and digital methods of verifying CO2 emissions.
In this role you will have a direct impact on reducing carbon emissions and contributing to a greener future participating in significant projects.
You will manage and check that the data reported by our clients meets the quality standards communicating with them on feedback working with the internal production system and verification tools.
As a Verifier you will have a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the following areas:
- Verify data quality from external clients documents (monitoring plans emission reports and fuel oil consumption reports)
- Review technical documentation for different types of vessels
- Monitor and verify vessel activity
- Work closely with international technical departments across DNVs global approval network
- Work with international regulations
- Collaborate with ship owners worldwide
- Contribute to the development of digital verification tools.

Qualifications
To maximize your chances you need:
- Engineering Bachelors/Masters degree or engineering student in the following or similar field of study: naval architecture mechanical engineering nautical environmental technologies or data analytics available for fulltime work
- Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and verbal). English is our official communication language
- Attention to detail and solutionorientated approach to deliver accurate and fast solutions to our customers.
Nice to have:
- Greenhouse Gases and MARPOL Annex VI knowledge
- Understanding of ship hydrodynamics
- Power plant knowledge
- Ship or ship systems knowledge both operational and technical
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools. We provide extensive training as well if you need.
