Job Description
LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Just outside of Greensboro!
$22.00 HOUR TO START!
Great Benefits Package!
You will be scheduling and assisting in loading shipments of metal between terminals. Experience with metal is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Review orders and print out upcoming loads.
2.Coordinate the scheduling of trucks with the drivers for loading.
3.Assist with loading as required.
4.Assure the safety of all loads following proper chaining practices. Perform and document random load securement checks.
5.Generate and complete all required documentation for deliveries.
6.Assist in the scheduling trucks for maintenance.
7.Shuttle trucks.
8.Assure compliance with all safety regulations.
9.Assist with the dispatching of trucks utilizing McLeod Freight System.
10.Assure work activities are performed according to QMS procedures and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated knowledge of trucks and trucking industry.
- Knowledge of how to load trucks.
- Computer proficiency: McLeod system etc.
- Basic understanding of truck maintenance.
- Demonstrated oral communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to relate to all types of people.
- Customer service skills
