Senior Consultant (Energy Components)
Location: Aberdeen Scotland United Kingdom
Model of Work: Hybrid

Energy Components has a global footprint. Developed in Norway in 1997 EC has grown to become a critical tool for the worlds largest oil and gas companies and the core system for coordinating Norwegian gas transport to Europe.
EC helps manage ownership quality commercial agreements and sales related to oil and gas production.
We seek high performing Sr. Solution Consultant to work in our professional Consulting and Services teamin Stavanger / Trondheim delivering our Energy Components software to our customers in Norway and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating and leading workshops with clients for the purpose of analyzing and gathering user requirements and documenting business processes
- Analysis of business requirements and presentation of findings in clear and concise documentation including gap analysis identification of risks dependencies and recommendations for process improvement
- Developing and documenting As Is and To Be process maps in compliance with enterprise process mapping standards
- Implementing/configuring Energy Components to meet business requirements.
- Designing and documenting test scripts to ensure functional design meets all business requirements
- Collaborating with product development team and suggesting improvements
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology or Petroleum Technology or similar
- 5 years of work experience in the Oil & Gas business
- Experience in business process modelling and requirement analysis
- Technical competences in database modelling and programming preferably Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Experience in programming preferably Java
- Strong system integration experience
- Experience with cloud solutions containers and RESTful integrations
- Excellent communication skills and fluent in English both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
- Additional Technical Competencies like: Java backend/frontend programming Oracle database modelling and PL/SQL programming Containers Docker App Server / Web Container WildFly Cloud solutions Azure and Amazon Web Services REST APIs PowerBI or similar business analytic tool is a bonus
