Job Description
The Crest Bistro is a restaurant located inside of the Crest Cadillac and Infiniti luxury car dealerships. We are committed to providing a topnotch customer experience and exceptional food. Immediate openings are available for an experienced line cook!
The line cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef Nick Totten and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes desserts appetizers and snacks
- Plating prepared foods based on senior chefs guidance
- Ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Taking orders and payment from the customer
- Make sure the dining room is cleaned and all table wiped down at the end of every shift
- Help with all catering events when needed
- Any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Proven cooking experience including experience as a Line Chef Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
- Must have previous customer service experience
- Available to work Full Time
- Available to work during the day
- Food Handlers License required
- Knowledgeable about food safety regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely and accurate manner
