Job Description
- Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify value prioritize resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
- Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
- Maintaining accuracy in picking orders.
- Maintaining proper product rotation. Checking all codes and stock in area.
- Maintaining a clean work station at all times including cardboard boxes.
- Getting empty cases for building of byproducts.
- Getting tags for identifying stacks for loading.
- Taking all leakers to the reprocess area. Notifying Supervisor and/or Filler Operator if the leakers are coming from the plant.
- Maintaining appropriate dress and personal appearance standards.
- Knowing understanding and adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Promoting and maintaining Company goodwill in all areas. Assisting others and performing other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2 or more year of experience in a cold storage environment.
- Must be humble approachable and honest yet able to lead and hold other accountable.
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift.
- Demonstrate good judgment and problem solving and decision making skills as well as being an organized record keeper.
- Must be a trustworthy selfstarter who can work independently and deliver accurate timely results.
- Must be able to stand/stoop and bend and be on your feet for long periods and lift or drag up to 100 pounds.
