Summary: Responsible for thewelcoming and guidance of guests entering the hotel whether be for a hotelstay or a visit to the restaurant the host/hostess will be the first and lastimpression of our guest. No Previous experience required.
Responsibilities include but are notlimited to the following:
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for the welcome of all guests that enter La Colombe dOrescorting them to the appropriate place (Front Desk or Restaurant)
Be present on the lobby floor engaging with customers during servicehours.
Monitor coursing and steps of service forall tables anticipating guests upcoming needs.
Speaking with guests or staffusing a clear professional and respectful language at all times.
Responds to individual guestneeds inquiries and/or complaints as they occur.
Assistthe restaurant team with the inspection of tables ensuring they are ready forguests arrival.
Ensurescustomer satisfaction with all aspects of the dining experience and/or hotelexperience
FieldsTonight & Tomorrow calls and email in a professional and helpful manner
TakeInroom dining calls and orders demonstrating in dept knowledge of food andbeverage menus.
Assistthe restaurant team with side work and prep work with downtime.
Report toRestaurant Managers regarding any need for repairs or housekeeping of allrestaurant spaces and materials.
Assist inthe upkeep storage and organization of all restaurant supplies
Adhere togrooming guidelines and standards.
Observe all legal guidelines and procedures of the TABC.
Thorough knowledge of productrecipes hotel policies and executing guest special requests.
Thorough knowledge of andcorrect application of all hotel policies procedures and practices.
Ability to maximizeeffective usage of the systems in place and recommend system improvements.
Perform other duties asassigned.
