Job Description:

Job Duties:
Ensure the effectiveness of the Physical Education and Recreation facility
operations.
Coordinate daily duties of the Physical Education & Recreation PartTime Staff.
Manage daily logs of events and happenings within the Physical Education & Recreation Center.
Ensure all facility policies are adhered to by the Physical Education & Recreation Center users.
Work Hours: PartTime 20 25 hours/week within hours of operation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related field of physical education or 4 years in physical education recreation and/or wellness operations or facility with 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
Hold a validCPR/First Aid/AEDcertification or ability to obtain.CPR/First Aid/AEDclasses are offered to staff at no expense.
This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
Physical effort required including but not limited to: lifting weights squatting bending reaching spotting and prolonged standing and walking. A preemployment post offer physical exam will be required of the selected candidate.
Able to attend in house meetings and training sessions.
Possess effective decisionmaking skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with students faculty and staff.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of all cardiovascular studio and strength center operations including proper use care and maintenance of equipment.
