The role we are proposing:
- Plan coordinate and direct the readiness of human and material resources while meeting delivery deadlines ensuring product quality and delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Monitor work costs status and quality and come up with appropriate solutions to problems.
- Manage employees and take any necessary disciplinary action in accordance with the collective agreement and human resources policies.
- Set objectives and evaluate performance.
- Lead improvement projects within the department.
- Develop implement and enforce policies standards and procedures to improve efficiency quality health safety and profitability.
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary team: define manage and coordinate activities related to projects and to the development of CAE products.
The ideal candidate:
- A college degree in a related field and at least 5 years experience or an equivalent combination of related training and experience (electrical and/or mechanical).
- Able to motivate and engage employees in a production environment.
- Has good experience applying Lean principles.
- Able to manage with a health and safety mindset.
- Has good human resource management skills in a unionized environment: an asset
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Coordinate a multidisciplinary team: define manage and coordinate activities related to CAE projects and product development and determine appropriate solutions to problems encountered.
