Job Description
What you will do:
Responsible for assisting the physician and/or Advanced Care Practitioner (ACP) with patient care patient intake at office visit documentation vaccine and medication administration clerical environmental and organizational tasks. Assists with appointment scheduling and maintaining medical record.
What you will need:
High school graduate or equivalent
Completion of a state approved VoTech School in Certified Medical Assisting
Completion of Medical assistant externship or physician office medical assistant experience preferred
Current certification as a Medical Assistant or AMT Registered Medical Assistant
Computer knowledge and skills preferred
Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
Phlebotomy experience preferred
