1.0 FTE PROBATIONARY PRINCIPAL
Taber Christian High School is a grade 912 Christian alternative high school within the Horizon School Division that is located in the town of Taber Alberta. Approximately 8 professional staff and 8 support staff provide service to approximately 150 students from families representing more than 20 church communities.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic studentcentered educator possessing the following qualifications:
- A Master of Education is strongly preferred.
- Successful teaching and leadership experience and demonstrated ability to meet the Leadership Quality Standard.
- A proven record of excellence in areas of fostering effective relationships student achievement instructional leadership leading a learning community understanding and responding to the larger societal context within a Christian School setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Taber Society for Christian Education who owns and maintains the facility.
- Teamoriented leadership style emphasizing collaborative decisionmaking.
- Ability to manage school operations and resources welldeveloped interpersonal skills excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Experience in nurturing and sustaining a culture that supports evidence informed teaching and learning from a Biblical perspective.
