Job Description
Title: Employment Specialist Individualized Placement Specialist FT
Worksite: Barren Service Center
County: Barren
Hours Status: FullTime / MonFri / 8am5pm
Pay Rate: $14.00 hourly
Brief Job Description:
Assist clients in finding competitive employment that is consistent with their vocational goals. Individual also ensures good employment outcomes for clients in the IPS supported employment program. Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel within assigned county.
Requirements for this position include:
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness experience providing employment services and knowledge of the work world preferred.
- Education and experience equivalent to undergraduate degree in mental health social services or business.
- A Bachelors degree preferred not required.
