Job Title
Sr Network EngineerPosition Overview
The Network Infrastructure Team is responsible for defining the network hardware standards and configuration templates for routing switching wireless voice and firewall technologies across the enterprise. Other systems and technologies supported by this team include cellular IP address management DNS/DHCP and web site domain services. This team is also responsible for cost and relationship management across the different service providers. As a member of the Network Infrastructure Team you have a direct impact on the design and improvements required to keep the infrastructure healthy.
In this role the Network Engineer will assist in the design and configuration standards for the network infrastructure initiatives while ensuring the secure and reliable performance of the network.
We are looking for someone who has experience with Palo Alo Firewalls and other network security technologies and is ready to learn and grow. Ideally you will be curious selfmotivated entrepreneurial and organized.
Essential Duties
Develop and define network security standards templates and processes for the enterprise.
Responsible for the daytoday operation of the corporate firewall environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Provide direct support in life cycle planning problem management integration and network configuration.
Applies knowledge of network security systems and applications to provide technical expertise for network infrastructure designs expansions and configurations.
Responsible for project planning and designing a scalable network infrastructure solution to meet business requirements for a highly available network.
Build and maintain relationships with other groups outside your immediate organization.
Other Duties:
Collaborating with vendors on implementation and deployment.
Planning for future strategies and initiatives to keep the network operating at a high performance.
Ability to travel to different facilities unassisted as required.
Uses companys resources (financial human or capital) responsibly.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors degree or proven experience in a network engineer role.
At least 5 years of handson experience with Palo Alo Firewalls.(MUST HAVE)
Experience with Zscaler Content Filtering product suite.
Checkpoint Firewall experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking or Network Automation skills a plus.
Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure implementations through all phases.
Deployment of Enterprise Networking tools and processes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present solutions in a nontechnical manner.
Open to Network Engineers or Network Engineer or Senior Network Engineer.
Work Shift
