Job Title: Structural Designs Engineer
Overview:Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Designs Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and managing structural engineering projects within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative solutions.
Responsibilities: Design and develop structural plans and drawings for construction projects
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety and compliance with building codes
Coordinate with architects contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
Review and approve project specifications drawings and documents
Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 ETABS or STAAD.Pro
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Valid drivers license
