Job Description
The role
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Coordinator you will verify that products produced at the facility meet the required specification for quality and food safety achieved through the application of routine reliability testing of finished products:
Duties include:
- Auditing of the PreRequisite Programs (PRPs) that are implemented to support the Food Safety and Quality programs. These PRPs include a range of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) activities that are implemented across the site.
- Conduct daily onsite quality control documentation and processes including completing records as required by document control
- Actively collaborating with Production staff to ensure compliance with food safety standards and participating in continuous improvement and project initiatives within the factory.
- Conduct inline production checks with label weight and box checks.
This role is a fulltime role based at our Ingleburn Processing Facility operating Monday to Friday. Depending on operational demand you may be required to work a public holiday or a weekend on an adhoc basis.
About you
- You have experience working in a production or food processing environment or as part of a Quality Assurance Team will be beneficial.
- You are a team player with demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural workplace which requires a certain level of skills to manage cultural differences language barriers where patience understanding diplomacy and a willingness to learn and adapt are key to succeed in this role.
- You have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have strong ability to adapt deal with uncertainty and remain calm in a changing environment.
- You are a selfmotivated individual with a focus on quality improvement and attention to detail.
