Job Description
The School of Physical Therapy SOPT in the College of Health Professions COHP invites applications for a 12month parttime 28.0 hrs./week) benefitseligible clinicaltrack faculty position at the rank of assistant professor to begin summer 2025. The candidate will have the ability to assist core faculty members with teaching laboratory skills in three or more areas of physical therapy practice: cardiopulmonary acute care skilled nursing geriatrics or home health. The candidate will participate in both independent and team teaching. The candidate will also supervise DPT students in the SOPT pro bono clinic and participate in any future clinical residency program. Responsibilities will focus on teaching and participating in clinical assessments (e.g. skills checks and practical examinations) and teaching in the CASES course series. This parttime position will have limited expectations for scholarship. The candidate will participate in some SOPT service activities (e.g. committees and student advising) as assigned by the chairperson.
