Announcement:
This is a frontline office position in the region 4 headquarters office in Great Falls MT. Roughly 85 of FTE is providing direct customer service to the public at a busy front office environment. Additionally this position is tasked with supporting the FWP resource division staff by completing customer service related tasks such as tagging harvested animals and completing AIS boat checks. These tasks are directly related to the customers experience and prompt service is crucial in this equation. Leaving this position vacant results in extended wait time for customers and would requires other FWP staff to cover the front desk in place of this vacant positions duties.

Special Information:
The Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks Region 4 Headquarters offices provide information and services to the hunting fishing and recreating publics within northcentral Montana. The Region 4 Headquarters located in Great Falls MT supports and coordinates all activities of Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks within the region.
The front desk staff under the direction of the regional office manager provides customer service to the sportsmen/women of the state of Montana and technical and administrative support to all programs at the Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks Region 4 Headquarters. The regional administrative support staffis the publics primary and initial contact presenting a professional and knowledgeable image for FWP. The Region 4 front desk serves as an FWP license agent and is responsible for accurately issuing a variety of hunting fishing and miscellaneous licenses permits and decals.
Identity of applicants who become finalists may be releases to the public if the Department deems it necessary. Employees who exceed 1040 hours in a calendar year are also provided health dental and life insurance. Other benefits include retirement paid vacation sick and holidays. This position may be covered by a VEBA (Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association).

Job Duties:
This position provides customer service technical and administrative support to the fish wildlife parks and outdoor recreation enforcement and information and education divisions. Provides current and accurate information on various topics and activities to include hunting fishing trapping and recreational opportunities within the state. Completes customer servicerelated tasks such as tagging harvested animals and completing AIS boat checks. Collects and handles money associated with license and permit sales and reconciles moneys. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of lobby. Inventories and organizes publication rack and enterprise items. This position requires computer and 0365 skills.
The knowledge skills and abilities of this position are normally attained through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or equivalent and one to two years of jobrelated work experience. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a casebycase basis.
