D1 Sports Franchise headquartered in Franklin Tennessee is a leading franchisor of classbased and oneonone athletic performance training for scholastic and adult athletes across the United States. The Company has 115 locations open with more than 200 locations in development. D1 has trained over 100 NFL Draft picks 3000 collegiate athletes and over 100000 scholastic athletes.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records for two entities ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately.
- Invoice Management: Issue invoices for services provided track payments and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection.
- Project Draws: Serve as an intermediary between franchisees and general contractors for the processing of construction draws including the preparation and submission of SBA loan draws (if applicable).
- Sales Tax Compliance: Handle sales tax registration preparation and remittance in multiple states ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports related to construction and project management activities providing insights to management for decisionmaking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team accounting team franchisees and external parties to ensure smooth financial operations and communication.
- Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in accounting preferably but not required in the construction or project management sectors.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
- Experience with sales tax compliance and multistate tax reporting is a plus.
- Familiarity with SBA loan processes and AIA documentation is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
