Job Description
Job Summary
Our client is a dynamic and growing accounting firm providing virtual accounting bookkeeping and financial advisory services to clients across various sectors in United Kingdom (UK). Our client is committed to delivering highquality reliable and techforward financial solutions. We seek a qualified senior accountant with strong experience in QuickBooks and/or Xero and a solid background supporting international companies. The ideal candidate will be proactive detailoriented and comfortable working in a remote environment. This is a fulltime role offering flexibility growth opportunities and a chance to work with global clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with international standards.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable bank reconciliations and payroll where applicable.
- Support the monthend and yearend closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (local and international).
- Assist clients with budgeting cash flow forecasting and general financial planning.
- Communicate professionally with clients across different time zones.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledgesharing within the team.
Requirements
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years postqualification experience as an Accountant from the Accounting/Finance Consulting Sector
- Candidate should be a qualified accountant (e.g. ACA ACCA or equivalent).
- An Ideal candidate should have experience in a clientfacing role and rich experience in a foreign or international environment.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero (certification is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS).
- An ideal candidate should have intermediate knowledge and experience of using Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
