Job Description
Our client develops products for the financial industry worldwide.
Position : (Sr) J2EE Engineer
Experience : 3 to 7 yrs
Location : Chennai
Qualifications :BE / BTech / MTech / MS / MCA
Key responsibilities of this position holder would include :
- Design development debugging of products Object oriented design.
- Participates in full product development life cycle of small to medium complexity feature or functionality.
- Works with multiple teams to solve customer issues and problem.
- Production support for technical issues
- Develop software modules as per the specifications
- Performs analysis for the acquisition installation modification and support of operating systemsdatabases utilities and internetrelated tools
- Implement code for diagnostics and performance monitoring
- Providing technical guidance for other junior team members such as Software Engineers/ Trainees
- Actively participate in the interviewing process for new hires
- Need to work with members in India and/or US
Required Skills :
- Thorough understanding of software architectures and development methodologies
- Ability to work independently/in a team coupled with Excellent problem analysis troubleshooting and resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively work with the QA team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Java based technologies specifically J2EE JSF and web services.
- Prior experience of working on app servers like Web Logic JBOSS.
- Prior experience of Oracle DB.
Added Advantages :
- Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services applications/products
- Prior experience in Oracle ADF
- Experience in Rich Faces UI framework is preferred
Job Description :
This position is responsible for development and unit testing of a product independently or as a team as per project specifications.
