PeopleCert is seeking an HR Administration Trainee to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in various administrative tasks ensuring efficient HR operations and compliance with company policies. This role involves employee recordkeeping benefits administration and providing general HR support to employees and management.

As an HR Administration Trainee your tasks will include the following:

  • Maintain and update employee records ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Process payrollrelated documentation and liaise with the payroll team to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage employee benefits administration including enrollments changes and communication with service providers.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies benefits and other HRrelated matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies staying up to date with regulatory changes.
  • Prepare analyze and maintain HR reports records and documentation to support compliance.
  • Generate and present HR metrics and reports on key areas.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

What we look for:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator HR Assistant or a similar role will be considered as an asset.
  • Excellent (or nativelike) command of the English language (C2 level certification desired LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) the official language of the relevant country.
