Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Collaboration Engineer with deep expertise in Slack administration automation and API development to enhance collaboration and productivity within our enterprise organization. In this role you will be responsible for managing Slack at scale designing secure and compliant solutions and leveraging AIdriven automation to optimize workflows.
You will collaborate with IT security and engineering teams to build and maintain a robust Slack ecosystem integrating it with other enterprise systems and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. As a technical leader you will drive innovation in workplace collaboration implementing automation strategies that streamline communication and operations.
What youll do:
- Administer and optimize Slack for a large organization ensuring security compliance and operational efficiency.
- Develop governance frameworks to manage Slack workspaces and enforce enterprise policies.
- Build and deploy Slackbased automation using APIs bots and AIdriven solutions to enhance team collaboration.
- Integrate Slack with enterprise systems thirdparty tools and internal applications.
- Collaborate with IT security and business teams to implement scalable and secure Slack solutions.
- Lead crossfunctional projects from concept to implementation ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in collaboration technology AI automation and Slack development best practices.
What were looking for:
- 5 years of experience in enterprise Slack administration including security compliance and governance.
- BS degree in a technical field or equivalent related experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python JavaScript etc. with a strong understanding of API development and integration.
- Experience with agentbased automation and AIdriven strategies within Slack to improve productivity.
- Strong understanding of API design principles and experience integrating Slack with enterprise applications.
- Ability to lead projects and work crossfunctionally with engineering IT security and business teams.
- Excellent problemsolving skills strategic thinking and ability to drive innovation in collaboration technologies.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing AIdriven automation in Slack.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT security and compliance requirements related to collaboration tools.
- Strong scripting skills for automation and workflow optimization.
