Lifeguard

• Actively scan the pool and ensure safety of all swimmers
• Administer pool rules and ensure safe and fun environment
• Connect with the patrons on a firstname basis to form relationships
• Monitor poolrelated activities closely throughout shift and identify any safety issues
• Organize and oversee pool parties swim time; serve as party host during party time
• Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool
• Provide assistance to patrons when appropriate or necessary

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required some College preferred
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must have swimming experience
• Lifeguard certification required
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Must pass drug test and background screen

• Love children and the water
• Ability to set an example of excellence
• Takes initiative
• Has excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to recognize problems and problem solve
