Being a Seasonal Lifeguard is the PERFECT Summer Job!

We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Lifeguard to join our team of professionals. A Lifeguards primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of patrons at our property by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing all pool rules fairly and consistently. Lifeguards are also responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to their Supervisor. Lifeguards ensure proper pool water chemicals record keeping and maintaining a clean and enjoyable aquatics facility.

On any give day you will do one or all of the following:

• Monitor activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers
• Caution swimmers regarding unsafe areas
• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid
• Maintains order in swimming areas
• Maintain continuous surveillance of people in swimming facilities
• Provide safety information to people prior to them indulging in a water sport
• Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene
• Maintain accurate records of pool use and chemical levels
• Check safety of rescue tubes and buoys and perform needed maintenance
• May give swimming instructions

You will need the following experience and certifications:

• 1 year experience as a lifeguard
• Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED
