Senior AssociateJob Description & Summary
- Lead the design and development of endtoend cloud architectures on the Google Cloud Platform ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements assess existing systems and propose innovative cloud solutions that meet performance security and costefficiency standards.
- Develop comprehensive architectural designs technical specifications and migration strategies for cloudnative applications and infrastructure.
- Provide expert guidance and oversight during the implementation phase working closely with engineering teams to ensure adherence to architectural best practices and GCP standards.
- Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks security controls and compliance measures within GCP environments.
- Conduct architecture reviews performance optimizations and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency of GCP solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies tools and trends in cloud computing evaluating their potential application within the organizations cloud strategy.
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert contributing to the development of best practices standards and methodologies related to GCP.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum 13 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or a similar role with a focus on designing and implementing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine BigQuery Cloud Storage Cloud Networking IAM etc.
- Proven track record in architecting complex scalable and highly available cloud solutions while adhering to security and compliance standards.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles microservices serverless computing containerization and hybrid cloud environments.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- GCP certifications like Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or other relevant certifications would be a strong asset.
