POSITION TITLE: Engineering Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadengineering teams responsible for development ofhighly visible and impactful web experiencesandintelligentweb/cloudapplications
- Ensurebest of breedagile software development practices areadhered towhile continuing to evolve with theindustry
- Develop exceptional engineers and future leadersby being engaged and committed totheirpersonal and professionalgrowth

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5years experienceleadingor managing softwareengineeringteams
- Experience working onenterprise scalehighly trafficked highprofilewebsitesor web applications
- Proficientin HTMLCSS JavaScript and componentbased frameworks
- Advanced experience in ReactAngular or otherJavascriptframeworks
- Firm understanding of PHPPythonor otherobjectorientedserversidelanguages for the webdevelopment
- Experience with Ntierand SOAapplication architectures
- Understanding and practical experience withcomplex data structures anddatabase design
- Extensive experience building secure scalable software systems (UI APIs data persistence)
- Excellent interpersonal leadership and communication skills
- Experience with agile software development processes (e.g.Scrum)
- Some travelrequired(up to 20 within West Coast)
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar is a plus
- Mastersdegreein Computer Science isa plus
- Related certifications is a plus
