Job Description
Envision Academy seeks a Middle School Science Teacher for theSchool Year.Located in the heart of downtown Oakland in a historic building Envision Academy is building the future of a college prep education for all. Join this exciting and transformational team! Teachers will lead students in an academic vision of success that focuses on Envisions graduate profile rooted in ethnic studies contentspecific standards and college/career readiness.

Key Responsibilities
- Adapt Internalize and Develop lesson and unit plans aligned to network curriculum.
- Participate in regular professional development and coaching cycles.
- Develop a strong sense of community and belonging in the classroom .
- Leverage studentfacing data to differentiate for diverse learners.
- Serve as an advisor and teach daily advisory curriculum.
- Collaborate in grade level and department teams.
- Build strong relationships with families.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree.
- Valid California Teaching Credential or out of state equivalent with ability to transfer required.
- Demonstrated success working with parents and families especially Black African American Latine/a/o/x and immigrant families.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual starting salary range of $63672 $102546 dependent upon years of aligned experience and credentials.
Bonuses available including signing bonus school transformation bonus and credential bonus.
- Additional Supplements for:
- Special Education: $5000
- Second Credential: $500
- Masters Degree: $3500
- Doctorate: $2000
- Board Certification: $5000
- Lead Learning Specialist (SPED): $10000
- Additional Leadership Stipends for:
- Instructional Lead Team: $5000
- Grade Level Lead Team: $5000
- Summer Professional Development: $250/day
