As the Assistant Manager of RiskManagement you will support the Risk Advisory team in identifying analyzingand mitigating risks for a diverse range of clients across industries. You willbe responsible for developing risk management strategies conductingassessments and advising clients on risk control measures. Working closelywith senior team members and clients this role requires a strong understandingof risk management principles excellent analytical skills and the ability tocommunicate complex information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments identifying key risk areas and determining their potential impact on the clients business.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies and controls in line with clients business objectives.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of risk data to identify trends and recommend risk reduction techniques.
- Client Advisory and Engagement
- Assist clients in understanding their risk exposures and provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Prepare and present reports on risk management activities ensuring clients are wellinformed on their risk profiles.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to engage clients in discussions around risk management strategies and best practices.
- Compliance and Regulatory Advisory
- Keep uptodate with industry standards and regulatory requirements affecting risk management practices.
- Provide advisory on compliancerelated risks including implementing regulatory changes and updating risk policies accordingly.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Risk Management Frameworks
- Support in the design development and implementation of risk management frameworks policies and procedures.
- Review and improve existing risk management frameworks based on industry standards and client needs.
- Utilize risk management software/tools to streamline processes and enhance the effectiveness of risk assessments.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Assist in team training on risk management principles and best practices to build organizational risk awareness.
- Support the Risk Management Manager in project management tasks including work planning resource allocation and stakeholder coordination.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science Finance Economics Mathematics Business Administration or related field. A masters degree or professional certification in Risk Management (e.g. CRM FRM CERA) is a plus.
- Experience: 7 years of experience in risk management consulting or a related field preferably within a consulting or professional services environment with focus on Insurance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in risk management frameworks and tools (e.g. ISO 31000 COSO). Strong knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in client presentations and reporting.
