Tomorrows Children is looking for an ambitious Youth Care Worker with the drive and experience to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. Tomorrows Children Inc is a Non Profit Residential Treatment Facility that provides treatment for children with emotional and behavior problems. We work with these children in a homelike environment teaching them daily living skills proper social skills appropriate behavior on a daily basis.

Join our team to make a difference in a childs life and gain valuable experience in the Social Services field.

  • Supervise and interact with 6 to 7 children with emotional and/or behavioral problems in a homelike environment
  • Perform household responsibilities to include meals general cleaning and minor maintenance necessary to keep children safe
  • Engage and positively interact with children on a daily basis
  • Teach and assist with activities of daily living
  • Develop and run behavioral programming
  • Accurately record data and update records
  • Teach proper social skills
  • Assist in academic programming and supervision during school hours and complete requirements of teachers aide license
  • Participate in sports activities with the children
  • Fulltime Position involves working varied shifts weekends and holidays. 1 weekend off per schedule period. Involves working 7am 3pm 3pm11pm with 2 to 4 11pm7am shifts per month.
  • Parttime Position consists of working 3 8 hour shifts per week with 1 having to be on weekend. Varied shifts 7am3pm 3pm11 and 11pm7am
  • Provide shift coverage as needed in emergencies
  • Position pay can increase based on continuous employment and satisfactory review.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Tomorrows Children is a Residential Treatment Center located in Waupaca WI.
Our mission is to provide a structured safe environment that offers stability and security for children and families while providing trauma informed therapeutic approaches to teach resiliency.
We treat children with behavioral and emotional issues that require intensive care.
Program Highlights:

  • One of the most unique aspects of our program is the ability to design an individual treatment plan to fit each childs specific needs.
  • Tomorrows Children focuses on enhancing positive change with the intent of returning the child to their family/community as soon as possible.
  • Individual/group counseling is integrated into a childs treatment plan as appropriate to better facilitate and learn the process of internal control and coping with past issues in positive ways.
  • Family/caretaker involvement through family training/counseling.
  • Homelike environment utilizing ranch style homes.
  • Team approach with a high staff to child ratio.
  • Utilization of small group care and instruction to maximize each childs potential and involvement in the program.
  • Unique comprehensive ongrounds educational program.
